We are the Student Ministry for Northlake Baptist Church.

Marathon is our midweek youth service. It meets at 7:00 pm in the youth center at
Northlake (Where’s Northlake? Click Here). This is a time to let your hair down, play
crazy games, sing, and hear what The Bible says about the current issues in your life.

SNAC stands for Sunday Night After Church. This is a time for the students to hang out
together after Sunday Night Church. Each month we have three SNAC’s: one for High
School, one Middle School, and one for everyone together. The High School and Middle
School SNAC’s are typically at someone’s home. The All SNAC’s are different each
time. We have done scavenger hunts, gone out to eat, roller skated, and bowled.

The first thing I would do is come to our Sunday Morning Bible Study. You will hear
about everything we are doing, get an updated calendar, and meet other students your
age. I would also attend the events we do outside the church. I know it is hard and
sometimes uncomfortable to do something without knowing anyone, but the more you
are around the better chance you will have to meet other people and feel apart of the
group.

There are a number of ways that you can get involved. The first way is to attend our
Sunday Morning Bible study. This is a great way to meet students your age, learn about
the cool stuff we are doing, and grow in your relationship with God. On Sunday night we
have The Path. If you are interested in playing is a praise band, singing in an ensemble,
being on a drama team, or being a part of a small group bible study then this is the time
for you. For students that want to be very involved we have student-planning teams.
These teams will help the Student Minister plan the major events that we do (Refuge,
Camp, Mission Trip, and Fall Fastbreak).
If you have any other questions please contact our Student Minister Here.
